Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of idelot, including its website, MCP server, hosted validation experiences, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

idelot helps users explore product ideas, create and publish market experiments, collect participant responses, and review related analytics through compatible AI clients and other provided interfaces. The Service does not guarantee that an idea, experiment, or product will succeed.

The Service is experimental and may change rapidly. To the extent permitted by law, we may add, remove, limit, or change features; impose or change usage and storage limits; suspend operations; or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without prior notice. The Service may become unavailable temporarily or permanently, including because of maintenance, technical failure, third-party services, security concerns, cost, or a decision to end development.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining control of your GitHub account, connected AI clients, and any sessions used to access idelot. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Your content and experiments

You retain ownership of the ideas, instructions, HTML, text, images, and other material you submit to the Service. You grant idelot a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for your published experiences, including their claims, offers, forms, and treatment of participant information. You must have the rights needed to publish your content and must comply with applicable laws and third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law, facilitate fraud, or mislead participants;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• publish malware, phishing content, abusive material, or harmful code;
• collect sensitive personal information without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards;
• interfere with the Service, bypass limits, or attempt unauthorized access; or
• use automated activity that unreasonably burdens the Service.

6. Participant data

If your experiment collects participant information, you are responsible for explaining how you will use it and for honoring applicable privacy, consent, marketing, and deletion requirements. idelot processes this information to provide the Service to you.

7. Data access, storage, and deletion

You authorize idelot and its service providers to access, inspect, review, copy, process, and disclose account data, project content, published experiences, participant information, analytics, and technical records when reasonably related to operating, maintaining, securing, supporting, debugging, enforcing, or improving the Service; investigating suspected abuse; complying with law; or protecting idelot, users, participants, or third parties.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of all content and data you need. The Service is not a backup or archival service. To the extent permitted by law, we may delete, overwrite, anonymize, or make unavailable any account, project, published experience, participant record, analytics record, or other data at any time, with or without prior notice. Reasons may include inactivity, storage limits, account suspension, technical operations, security, legal compliance, discontinued features, or discontinuation of the Service.

We do not guarantee that deleted or unavailable data can be recovered. Any handling of personal information remains subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

The Service may depend on third-party services such as GitHub, Cloudflare, ChatGPT, Claude, or other MCP-compatible clients. Their terms and privacy practices apply separately, and idelot is not responsible for third-party services.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate any account or access at our discretion, with or without prior notice, including for suspected violations, inactivity, operational or security reasons, legal risk, third-party service changes, or discontinuation of the Service. Suspension or termination may immediately prevent access to projects, published experiences, participant data, and analytics.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, idelot disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated output and market signals may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation, and you remain responsible for decisions made from them.

We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, preservation of data, recovery of deleted data, continued operation of public URLs, compatibility with any AI client, or advance notice of changes or discontinuation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, idelot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost or deleted data, unavailable published experiences, lost leads, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, idelot’s aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid idelot during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or JPY 10,000. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold idelot harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your content, experiments, participant-data practices, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or our practices. We will post the revised terms with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
